Be clear when content is advertising

You must clearly disclose when Content constitutes advertising or a commercial endorsement.

If you receive payment, commission, free products, discounts, gifts, services or any other benefit from a brand, retailer or third party in connection with Content you post, you must make this clear to users. Any disclosure must be prominent, easy to understand and visible at the beginning of the Content where appropriate. Labels such as "Ad", "Advertisement", "Paid Partnership" or similar clear wording should be used.

Affiliate links, discount codes, brand tags or product links may not, by themselves, provide sufficient disclosure.

TOSE may apply additional disclosures or labels to certain Content. However, you remain solely responsible for ensuring that your Content complies with applicable advertising, consumer protection and other legal requirements.

Post only content you have the right to use

You must only post Content that:

• you created yourself; or
• you have the necessary rights, licences, permissions or consents to use and share.

Content must not:

• be unlawful, fraudulent or misleading;
• infringe any intellectual property, privacy or other rights of another person;
• contain defamatory, threatening, abusive, hateful, discriminatory or harassing material;
• promote illegal activities; or
• otherwise cause harm to TOSE, its users or third parties.

By posting Content, you grant TOSE a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute and make available that Content for the purposes of operating, securing, promoting and improving the platform, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.

Submitting content does not guarantee that it will be published, or that it will remain available on TOSE.

You may delete your Content at any time, subject to any legal, technical or operational requirements that require us to retain copies for a limited period.

Share accurate and honest content

Reviews, recommendations and opinions should reflect your genuine experience and honest beliefs.

You must not:

• misrepresent prices, discounts, offers, savings or product availability;
• make claims that you know, or ought reasonably to know, are false or misleading;
• falsely imply an affiliation, endorsement or partnership with a brand, retailer or TOSE; or
• manipulate ratings, reviews, engagement or other platform features.

Where you share information about products, services or offers, you are responsible for ensuring that the information is accurate at the time of posting.

Respect other users

You must treat other users respectfully.

Do not post Content that is abusive, threatening, intimidating, discriminatory, hateful, sexually explicit, violent or otherwise inappropriate for the TOSE community.

Do not engage in harassment, bullying, impersonation, spam or other behaviour intended to disrupt the platform or negatively affect other users' experience.

Prohibited activity

You must not use TOSE to promote, sell or facilitate the sale of illegal goods or services, counterfeit products, or goods whose sale is restricted by law.

You must not create multiple accounts, use automated tools or bots, artificially inflate engagement, or otherwise manipulate the platform.

You must not present yourself as acting on behalf of TOSE, or suggest that your content has been approved, verified or endorsed by TOSE, unless we have confirmed that.

How we enforce this policy

We may investigate any suspected breach of this policy.

Where we reasonably believe that Content or behaviour breaches this policy, our Terms & Conditions or applicable law, we may take action including:

• removing, restricting or disabling access to Content;
• limiting or suspending platform features;
• issuing warnings;
• suspending posting privileges;
• suspending or terminating accounts; and/or
• reporting unlawful activity to relevant authorities where appropriate.

Repeated or serious breaches may result in permanent suspension of your account.

We may preserve relevant information and cooperate with law enforcement where the law requires it.

We are not obliged to monitor all Content, but we reserve the right to review, moderate, remove or restrict Content at our discretion where permitted by law.

If you believe Content breaches this policy, please contact us at info@theonlineshoppingexpert.co.uk with details of the issue. We will review reports and take action where appropriate.

We review every report, but we may not be able to update you on the outcome.
