Question 1

How do I enter a competition?

Accepted Answer

Open the draw and follow the steps to enter the draw. You enter using the name and email from your TOSE account, so there is nothing extra to fill in.

Question 2

What details do you use when I enter, and who sees them?

Accepted Answer

You enter with the first name and email on your TOSE account, so there is nothing extra to type. We use those details to run the draw and contact you if you win. If you do win, we will ask for the full name and delivery details we need to get your prize to you. For some competitions the sponsor needs them too, to get in touch and arrange for the prize to be sent or picked up. Each competition's terms set out exactly who receives your details. If you win a major prize, we will ordinarily publish your surname and county to show the draw was genuine. You can ask us to publish less.

Question 3

Do I have to pay to enter?

Accepted Answer

Our draws are normally free to enter, with no purchase necessary. On the rare occasion a specific draw requires a purchase, we'll say so plainly on that draw's page.

Question 4

Who can enter?

Accepted Answer

Competitions are open to UK residents aged 18 or over. You need to be a UK resident both when you enter and when the draw is made. Employees of Dome Media Ltd and of the prize partner, their immediate families, and anyone in the same household, can't enter.

Question 5

How are winners chosen?

Accepted Answer

Winners are drawn at random from all valid entries after the closing date and notified by email. The number of winners and the prize are shown on each competition page.

Question 6

Where can I see past winners?

Accepted Answer

Winners can choose to appear in our Winners' Circle, shown by first name and initial unless they opt to share more. Separately, for major prizes we publish the winner's surname and county so anyone can see a real award was made — you can ask us to publish less by emailing info@theonlineshoppingexpert.co.uk.
